Whew, Jackson is a handful. He has caused Scott and I to fight lately. We do not know how to handle his devilish attitude. Here are some pictures of what he has done to Scott and I. Jackson has done more harm to Scott's arms than mine. He is also getting much bigger. He gained 6 pounds in one week.
This is my favorite picture of Jackson.
It should be noted that in the picture of my hands, it appears as though Jackson is biting my crotch in the background....which come to think of it is most likely not an optical illusion.

Funny comment!!! I have already shared ideas for dealing with the biting but just remember that this stage actually doesn't last THAT long. He WILL stop teething. Keep your hands convered as much as possible and put something else in his mouth. Maggie liked to chew up paper...but then that sets up another problem. However there were times when I was so desperate that I allowed it. Maggie and all of our previous goldens did grow up to be nice, cooperative dogs. One was even very docile!!! All were sooooo sweet. Don't give up. Just hand in there.
ReplyDeleteDid mom actually MEAN to say "just HAND in there" or was that a punny slip of the tounge? Anyway--where is the Meeko puppet glove when you need it, right Scott? Course in this case it looks more like you need full body armor or a sumo suit or something. Is it possible you somehow picked out a vampire puppy??
