WHO DAT NATION

What an amazing game last night. First Super Bowl to go to and first Super Bowl win!!!! We went over to Josh and Christy's to watch the game. We had to use a cheat, so we had guac, leftover appetizers from my bachelorette party (that will be another post) and pizza. Yum, yum. The most amazing part was seeing Drew Brees hold his son after the win. It was a very emotional time.

On another note, Scott and I have been dieting for the wedding, hince the cheat used yesterday. Scott has lost over 20 pounds in the last 4 weeks!!! I have lost 8 pounds, which is more than I wanted, but I am fine with the loss!! My wedding dress does not fit anymore, so I might as well lose more if I can. I will be back to my high school weight if I lose about 5 more pounds! Only 42 more days until the wedding!! I am getting so excited!

Today, it is snowing!!!!!! I got the day off and hopefully Scott is leaving work in the next few minutes. I just heard someone trying to go up the hill in front of our house, and they were having trouble. Not a good sign. We are supposed to get upwards of 8 inches!!!!!!! WOW! We NEVER get that much. I will post some pictures of it later. The dogs are in love with the snow and would stay out all day if I let them. Okay, off to write a paper.

51 Days!!

I know. Christmas has come and gone. It was a good one. We got a lot of wedding decorations. I also got a Wii!! Love it. School has started back. It is not that bad this semester. I am going to try to stay on top of things so I don't have to do anything over the honeymoon!! We got a new dog. We adopted a collie mix, sheltie mix. I will post pictures of her soon. She has been the greatest thing for Jackson. They play all day and night, and pass out at the end of the night. Will post more about the wedding this weekend.

About Time

I know, it has been a long time. In the past couple of months, we went to Baton Rouge and have taken engagement pictures. We went to see Shane, Sara, Ethan and baby #2 in Baton Rouge and went to a Saints game. It turned out to be a great game, Saints vs. Giants. As much as I love my Manning boys, I was so excited that the Saints won. They are now 9-0!!! Whoo hoo!!!!!!!!

We also got engagement pictures done the week before it starting getting cool. Scott's sister, Christy, did them and of the few I have seen, I love them. Hope to get to see more soon (hint, hint!). We went to a park in the St. Charles area and Knoop Park which is in the Heights.

Jackson is getting so big. Hopefully he will stop growing because he will be one in 4 weeks. On the wedding front, we have the caterer and the cake ordered. While Scott's mom, Doris, and his aunt, Mary, were in town last weekend, they and Christy set up a table of 4 different ideas for the reception. I was blown away. It was so elegant and it just makes me more excited. Friday will be 4 months or 16 weeks until the wedding (not counting down at all!). I would love to win this bag. It is so hot!! Yes, I just said that!!! Everything is going good right now. Lots of papers and school work to get done, among the things to do for the wedding. Will write more later when I have a chance. I'm making a new wreath that more of you will like than the one I posted about before. Let me know if you would like to buy one. 6 months

I know it has been a while. I've started my final year of school!! Seems like I just finished my bachelor's. Oh yeah, I did. What a year it has been. I am in love with my internship, and the good thing is that I will be there until May of next year. The therapist I am working with is great. She is letting me do alot of the groups and individual sessions on my own. I also love that we have three children with autism or pdd (the umbrella disorder that autism falls under).

On another note, we have 6 months until the wedding. Nothing has really gotten done lately. I will address and mail the save the dates within the next week. We also need to take engagement pics before it gets too cool. Probably would have done it by now, but it has rained for like 10 straight days. Hopefully that is over and the ground can dry up. We have put together a document that lists things that need to get done before the wedding. Since this is my first, and only, wedding, we could use some help. If anyone who reads this would like to help, leave me a message and I will get it to you. Thanks so much for those of you that are already helping. I couldn't do it without you.
